With coffee rubs becoming more popular, using our Espresso Balsamic balances the bitter with some sweet. And it's PERFECT for short ribs!
Ingredients:
2 lbs beef short ribs
Salt & pepper, to your taste
EVOO for searing
1/2 Cup Espresso Dark Balsamic Vinegar
1/2 Cup beef stock
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
Directions:
Season ribs with salt & pepper, then sear in olive oil until browned.
In a sauce pain, simmer balsamic, beef stock, sugar, and soy sauce until reduced by half.
Pour the sauce over the ribs, cover, and braise at 325 F for 2 to 2.5 hours until tender.
