Walnut, Garlic & Kale Stem Pesto - Dairy Free

What to do with all those stems from leaves of kale? Don't throw them out! Add them to a pesto like this one, which is always a showstopper!

1 heaping Cup kale stems, chopped (you can also use bits of the leaves in this too)
3 cloves garlic, chopped
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt & pepper, to taste
Pinch of red pepper flakes
1/4 Cup Basil Infused Olive Oil
1/2 Cup walnut halves

Add all ingredients to a food processor except the olive oil. Pulse until the mixture is a well combined but grainy consistency.
Add the Basil olive oil and pulse several times until well incorporated.
Then serve!
